what is the last date for appointing the secretarial auditor?

No last date is prescribed for the same and as per section 204 of the Act, every listed and prescribed class of companies shall required to annex a Secretarial auditor’s report with Board report made in terms of section 134. So it is assumed to obtain the same before placing the Board report.
