As per section 96 of the companies Act, 2013, an anuual general meeting can not be hled on Natinal Holidays declared by the Central Government. Central Government had declared only three days, viz, Independence Day, Republic Day and Gandhi Jayanthi as national holidays. Sunday is not declared as a national holiday. Hence, can an AGM be held on Sunday?
