Is there any obligation to convert Share Certificates in accordance with the format given under companies Act, 2013 and rules framed thereunder?

Section 46- Certificate of shares.

No there is no need to convert share certificate which were issued before the commencement of this Act but share certificate (even in case of duplicate share certificate ) which are issued after April 1, 2014 shall be as per the new format prescribed under the Act
