Order

S.O. 3396(E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (6) of section25 of the Companies Act, 1956 (1 of 1956) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Central Government hereby directs that the companies incorporated with the name containing the expression "electoral trust" and approved in accordance with the procedure laid down in the Electoral Trusts Scheme, 2013, notified vide number S.O. 309(E), dated 31^st January, 2013, and to which licence is granted under section 25 of the said Act, shall be exempt from the provisions of clause (b) of sub-section (1) and sub-section (2) of section 293A of the said Act which has since been replaced by sub¬section (1) of section 182 of the Companies Act, 2013 (18 of 2013) and notified vide number S.O. 2754(E) dated 12^th September,2013.
