Is it compulsory for the Directors to file DIR 8 with the companies in which they are Directors if any of their company is in default of annual filing. Further DIR 9 is about what. Is it necessary for all the company who hv defaulted in annual filing to file this form with ROC.

Yes DIR 8 has to be filed. DIR 9 is applicable where the director is disqualified but wants to be appointed as director K Gopalan
