Proviso to Sub-Section (3) of Section 179 talks about delegation to the 'Principal Officer'. However, nowhere in the Companies Act, 2013, SCRA, SEBI Act or Depositories Act, the term 'Principal Officer' has been defined. In the circumstances, who can be the 'Principal Officer' for the said Section.
