As per SCHEDULE IV section 149(8) CODE FOR INDEPENDENT DIRECTORS the listed entities has to hold at least one meeting in a year of independent directors, here in the act the word "in a Year" is not defined whether the year here states the any Financial year or the Calender Year?

Section 149- Company to have Board of directors.

Calender Year, As per Secretarial Standard-1- Where a Company is required to appoint Independent Directors under the Companies Act, 2013, such Independent directors shall meet at least once in a Calender Year.
