Dear Sir, ours is a public Ltd. wholly owned subsidiary of LIC of India. the head of the company who is also one of the directors, his designation is chief executive. in articles also he has been termed as chief executive. but now he wants to use designation as chief executive office. please advice the formalities required. thanks and regards.

There is no designation like chief executive, it can be only chief executive officer or you can also call the current chief executive as chief executive office. Moreover a director who is a chief executive, can be termed as Whole time director & chief executive officer
