CAN ANYBODY TELL ME, WHICH FORM I SHOULD FILE FOR INTIMATING THE APPOINMENT OF AUDITOR FOR THE YEAR 2011-12

Now it is the duty of the Company to file appointment of auditors. So if you are filing for the company, then there is no need to file backdated appointment of auditors, since as per companies act 1956, it was to duty of auditor to file Form 23B with Auditor and not of the Company. But if you are a CA and want to file it for your appointment then, now for back dated, you can file E-form GNL-2..

As per companies Act 1956, it was E-Form 23B which was to be filed by the Auditor. As per the new companies act 2013, there are two steps to be followed. 1. Fill ADT-1 and to be signed by Director/Authorised Signatory (Readily available on the MCA Website) 2. E-Form No. GNL-2 is required to be filed with ROC. ADT-1 duly signed by authorised signatory is to be attached in E-Form No. GNL-2 and then after affixing DSC of Authorised Signatory, upload the aforesaid form with ROC.
