what will the date of first AGM for the Company incorporate in 28/01/2013?

Section 96- Annual general meeting.

RAMAMURTHY

The annual general meeting should be held on or before 30.09.2013. The reason being that on the date of the last date of the financial year i.e. 31.3.2014 the old Companies Act was applicable. As per new Act, section 96, the AGM could have been held till 31.12.2014 but that does not seem probable. As per income tax, the company could have made thebalance sheet of 31.3.2013 for I.T. Return purposes.
