What should be the date of appointment of Auditors who are appointed to fill Casual Vacancy pursuant to Sec.139(8)(i). Is Board Meeting date or EGM date? please clarify.

In case if casual vacancy arises other than by way of resignation of auditor, then vacancy shall be filled in the Board Meeting and which shall be treated as the date of appointment In case if casual vacancy arises due to resignation of auditor, then vacancy shall be filled in general meeting (date of appointment) which shall be convened within 3 months of the recommendation of the Board
