can a private company converts its Convertible Preference shares into equity shares with in a period of one year of Allotment of Convertible preference shares. is there any lock in period for preferential allotment of convertible preference shares

No lock in period is provided in the Act and company can converts the said shares as per the terms and conditions of the offer letter.
