While maintaining MGT-1(Register of members), is it necessary to record the member's data since incorporation of the company or would it suffice if only the data after the date of enforcement of section 88 is recorded ?

Proviso to Rule 3 of the Companies (Management and Administration) Rules, 2014 clearly states that in the case of existing companies, registered under the Companies Act, 1956, particulars shall be complied within 6 months from the date of commencement of these rule.
