DIN-4 - Is Verification Statement in Affidavit Format mandatory for Foreign National? If so how we can export the document for Signature since it requires to be on Stamp Paper?

The affidavit can be executed by foreign nationals without payment of stamp duty but the same has to be notarised or apostile as may be applicable and when it comes to India after execution within 3 months the applicable stamp duty is required to be paid.

however it is to be stamped after the receipt of same in india based on the stamp duty prevailing in the respective states. this is to be stamped with in 30 days of the receipt of documents in india..

Yes. please refer help file of DIR-4. All the relevant documents have to be notorised in his home country.

I had a word with department officials and per their view notarisation is to be done in their home country and then a stamp paper of INR. 10 is to be taken and is to be mentioned on the same that it is for the purpose of procurement of DIN of ________(applicant name).

Incase of foreign nationals notarization should be done in their home country. Stamping in India is not applicable.
